Riga International Rotary Club organizes the “1st Santa Claus Fun Run” on December 14th, 2008. Everybody are welcome to join the fun run. You will change into a Santa Claus and join hundreds of Santa-runners for a 3 km run around the Old Town.
The run will take place on Sunday, Dec 14 at 11.30 am at the Dome Square in Riga.
For taking part in this event you have to register through www.santasfunrun.lv.
You pay 10Ls and receive a 5 piece Santa suit in the value of 3Ls, 7 Ls will be donated to support the RONALD MC DONALD HOUSE CHARITY “CARE MOBILE”. Santa-runners should get their family, friends or colleagues “sub sponsor” them for completing the course, which will multiply the charity donations.
